Ann - Lead Vocals

Ann started piano lessons when she was 4 years old, and has been singing ever since she opened her mouth. After the grade school band
teacher told her the only instrument she could play was clarinet, she decided to be different and picked up the violin. She
played for a few years before the peer pressure got to her. From junior high on, she played piano for various church and
school choirs, weddings, and social functions -- not a bad way for a kid to make some cash!
During Ann's college years at K-State, she sang in the school choir and was in the theatre department's production of the Music Man.
Although neither venture was much fun for her, she did meet the future members of her college band, Moksee. She started as a back-up
singer and keyboard player, but when the lead singer quit, Ann stepped up to fill her shoes. Moksee played together in one variation
or another for nearly 4 years with gigs in beloved Aggieville.
Alas, the music doesn't always pay the bills and the band split when members were forced to move for work. She continured to
bartend in Manhattan for several years (singing pseudo-karaoke occasionally with the DJ to beef up the tips) before graduating
and taking on a "grown-up" job in KC. Then Russ and Ryan came along to rescue her from the music-less life I had been leading!
